Freesia is a highly fragrant flower which is produced from either corms, bulbs or seed. We originally planted 10 bulbs in our front garden and they’ve reproduced themselves throughout the entire front and back gardens. They are known for their lovely, heavenly aroma but are equally delicate and pretty in a vase or left in the garden. You can grow them in a pot or the garden however, do not remove the bulb after flowering just cut the stem back to the ground and they will happily reflower the following year. Although growing Freesia from seed is quite simple, you should be aware it take 4-6 weeks to germinate. Planting instructions included on each packet.
